Mystical Shrines

I need some help coming up with a design for the Mystical Shrines in MH, which will be essentially the same thing as the Mystic Temples in MR, but they should look different. I was thinking maybe a tetrahedron type of thing, with a raised square in the middle, but that would be very difficult to make. Any ideas?

It would be so unoriginal to do exactly the same thing as Mystic Realm. Instead of having the Mystic Shrines perform the same function, we need to come up with some other gimmick.

Maybe instead, we could have alternate exits into a place called Mystical Heavens Zone. There would be lots and lots of acts, and each act would correspond to a Mystic Shrine. In each level of Mystical Heavens Zone, there would be a Chaos Emerald, but it would be hidden. Or perhaps there would be Special Stage Tokens in MHZ, and we could create our own set of Special Stages.

Yes, actually, that's kind of what I was thinking. Each level of Mystical Heavens Zone would have a subtitle that corresponds to each of the emerald stages, and each of the emerald stages would have an emerald hidden somewhere in the stage. Therefore, the level header of Mud Valley would look like this:

Well, maybe it shouldn't have the subtitle "Mud Valley". Maybe it should just be left at "Mystical Heavens Zone", and have a number that corresponds to the number of the zone you access that act from. For instance, if Mud Valley zone was the second world, then it would be MHZ Act 2.

On another note, perhaps we should use Mystic Gates, rather than Mystic Shrines. That is, it would resemble a doorway or portal which looks out on a small patch of Mystical Heavens Zone, and when you enter it, it acts like a custom exit to the level.

I like the gate idea a lot. But I believe that the subtitles should be in there. For the look out into a portion of that section of MHZ, I could take screenshots of the levels of MHZ and import them as patches. And it would read, on the level header(updated from the other one):
