Re: Character WAD help needed!
It's the same thing. SRB2 forces uppercase lumps(or rather, XWE does if you check that box, and SLumpEd always does it). SRB2 needs uppercase lumps to work, IIRC.

Re: Character WAD help needed!
No, lowercase is necessary for the last few frames. First of all, are you using XWE? Use it; it's much better than SLumpEd for this kind of thing. To do it, you need to go into Options and uncheck "force uppercase lumps". Then it won't automatically force it to be uppercase.blahblahbal wrote:It's the same thing. Re: Character WAD help needed!
Sorry for double post, but a dumb question coming... Where is that kind of options? I clicked View-Options, and found no such thing!

It is in View --> Options. There are multiple tabs for the box that comes up when you go to Options; that setting is in another one.

Re: Character WAD help needed!
Sorry for being a noob, but I don't get it or it's another version of XWE!fawfulfan wrote:It is in View --> Options. There are multiple tabs for the box that comes up when you go to Options; that setting is in another one.
1.General
Reopen last file on startup
Perform Cleanup on exit
Keep only one backup file
Disable undo
Open maps in preview mode first.
2.Entry List
Auto play sounds
Show ,,size" column
Show ,,position" column
Show full pathnames in entry list
Cut and Copy commands empty clipboards first
3. File Types
No file associations
WAD Files only
WAD files and common game data file extensions
All extensions supported by XWE
That's all options I can find! D:>

Apparently I didn't recall correctly. But anyway, try a tutorial on the wiki: http://wiki.srb2.org/wiki/XWE_Tutorial#Lowercase_lumps_and_other_menu_options
See if that helps.

"Don't auto capitalize lump names" isn't there! Can anyone give me a link for that version, please?

The latest version can be downloaded off the SRB2 Wiki. Check the XWE page for the download link.
