Help with a few things

I am working on a character. I would like him to jump without rolling into a ball, so I added the "nojumpspin" command into his S_Skin file, but upon loading it into the newest version of SRB2, it comes up that it doesn't work like that anymore. Does anyone know what they may have changed it to? Or is this one of those, "wait until the official wiki comes back up again" things.

You'll want to use "ability2 = 1".

What the hell is ability2 and why am I just now hearing about it?

Because it's a variable new to SRB2 2.0.

I tried it and it took the ability to spindash away, can we fix that? Or is this another way of saying "you can't have nice things"?

Yeah, unfortunately, you have to choose between spindash and nojumpspin.

It's really stupid, but it's the sad reality.

unless you try making it spindash and then just have the jump sprites use spring up sprites.
