Well, a few things have been leaked about the future:
- Spoiler:
1. Mecha Sonic does eventually get all seven Chaos Emeralds.
2. Upon getting all seven Chaos Emeralds, Mecha Sonic decides to host a tournament of power before destroying the world, just like Cell in DBZ
3. Yes...Mecha Sonic IS defeated. But I think we all knew that was coming.
4. After the whole thing, Sonic and Shadow decide to stay in the Mushroom Kingdom rather than returning to the scorched wasteland that was once Mobius.

It just felt like generic, uninteresting fights slapped together with a story, into one big mess.
I just don't see the appeal.

DBZ is this way too. If anything, it's worse. The appeal is that anyone who likes DBZ (and a few who don't; I've never actually watched it) is bound to love this, particularly if they're Mario and/or Sonic fans.

Ya, I have to agree with fawfulfan on this, I've watch DBZ but it's like a very slow story telling show with violence. DBZ is still a pretty good show though. Combining mario and sonic into a dbz styled show, I think the creator would be very famed on newgrounds and youtube.

Hey, I hate Dragon Ball all together. Even though I like SMBZ, adds a berter humour than the others.

I think Alvin should make Mario and Luigi go back to Mobius with Sonic and Shadow with a whole mess of 1-ups and revive everything and everyone + Using the power of the chaos emeralds. Than Mario and Luigi go back and blah blah blah...

I'd bet everything I owned that that's never going to happen. That ending is just too darn happy.
Besides, if that ending happens, then it'll fit in as a good storyline.

I seen SMBZ and it's awsome! But I have a question, will Shadow return? He's one of my favorite charachters in the series,(and mabye the entire Sonic universe!), and also, when will episode 9 come out? It seems like an eternity since the last episode.

Super Mario Bros. Z, better known as SMBZ, is a Flash animation series created by Alvin-Earthworm. The series first debuted on April 22, 2006 at the popular flash site Newgrounds.com. It combines elements from Super Mario Bros., Sonic the Hedgehog, and Dragon Ball Z. Although the series borrows many elements from Dragon ball Z, such as the choreography of the fight scenes, powering up, and free flight, the series doesn't contain any actual characters from the show or the others. The series has reached well known popularity over the 2006 year and continues onward during 2010.

Following yesterday's big gallery clean out, I think it's high time I focused on the important things. AKA SMBZ. I've left the series on hiatus for too long, so I'll be spending my free time working on episode 9. Because, let's be honest here, that's the only reason people visit this userpage in the first place. The only way I'll earn respect with the fans is by giving them what they want.
So this gallery is going to be devoid of any new artwork for a little while. At least until I make up for all the slacking off I've been doing for the past 2 years.
